Geekvape Z Series Coils

Geekvape Z Series Coils are mesh replacement coils made for compatible Geekvape Z and Zeus sub-ohm tanks and vape kits. Formerly widely known as Geekvape Zeus coils, the Z Series provides a choice of resistances for adult vapers who prefer a direct-to-lung draw, clear flavour and substantial vapour production.

Each pack contains five replacement coils in your selected resistance. Their push-fit design means there is no threading to line up: remove the used coil from the base of your compatible tank and firmly press the replacement into position.

The mesh heating structure provides a larger and more evenly heated surface than a traditional wound coil. This helps the coil respond quickly while maintaining consistent e-liquid vapourisation across the recommended power range.

Which Geekvape Z Coil Should I Choose?

The best Geekvape Z coil depends on the power level, warmth and vapour production you prefer. A lower resistance does not automatically make a coil better; it generally means that the coil is designed to operate at a higher wattage.

Geekvape Z 0.15Ω Coil

The standard 0.15Ω coil is recommended for approximately 80–90W. It produces a warmer, more powerful DTL draw and is suited to users who prioritise substantial vapour production.

The 0.15Ω XM or Boost version has a different recommended range of approximately 70–85W. Check whether the variation being purchased is the original or XM version and follow the wattage printed on the coil.

Geekvape Z 0.2Ω Coil

The 0.2Ω coil operates at approximately 70–80W. It offers a strong balance of warmth, flavour intensity and vapour, making it a popular everyday option for compatible Geekvape Z tanks.

Geekvape Z 0.25Ω Dual Coil

The 0.25Ω Dual coil operates at approximately 45–57W. Its lower power requirement makes it a useful choice for a slightly cooler DTL vape while still providing satisfying vapour and flavour.

Geekvape Z 0.4Ω Coil

The 0.4Ω coil operates at approximately 50–60W. It provides a cooler and more moderate draw than the higher-powered 0.15Ω and 0.2Ω options. It can also use less battery power and e-liquid than coils operated at significantly higher wattages.

Always use the wattage range printed on the coil or packaging, as specifications can differ between original and updated XM versions.

What E-Liquid Works Best with Geekvape Z Coils?

These are sub-ohm coils intended for higher-power direct-to-lung vaping. They are generally best paired with a suitable high-VG e-liquid, such as a 70VG/30PG shortfill.

A thicker high-VG formulation supports the open airflow and higher vapour output associated with Z Series coils. Use an e-liquid and nicotine strength appropriate for a high-powered DTL device.

How to Install and Prime a Geekvape Z Coil

Turn off your device and remove the tank before changing the coil. Unscrew the tank base, pull the old push-fit coil straight out and press the new coil firmly into the opening.

After fitting the coil, fill the tank and allow the cotton inside the coil to absorb the e-liquid fully before vaping. Begin near the lower end of the wattage range printed on the coil, then increase the power gradually until you reach your preferred setting.

Correct saturation and gradual power adjustment help reduce the risk of prematurely burning the cotton. Do not exceed the recommended wattage printed on the coil.

When Should a Geekvape Z Coil Be Replaced?

Replace your coil when you notice one or more of the following:

• A burnt or unpleasant taste
• Weaker or muted flavour
• Noticeably reduced vapour production
• Persistent flooding or gurgling
• E-liquid becoming unusually dark inside the tank
• The coil no longer performing consistently at its normal wattage

Coil lifespan varies according to usage frequency, wattage, e-liquid composition and vaping habits. Sweetened e-liquids and continuous high-power use may cause residue to build up more quickly.
