As for disposable vapes, they won't be around for much longer. The UK's government has put a plan in motion to cut the sale of disposable vapes from 1 June 2025, Circular Economy Minister Mary Creagh recently confirmed.

In England since 2012, vape sales skyrocketed up over 400%, and now 9.1% of folks are now buying and using these products. Nobody's really sure how safe or risky vaping is in the long run. Plus, they pack a bunch of nicotine, which can have you super hooked and might lead to withdrawal symptoms, anxiety,trouble concentrating, and headaches.

According to a study, In 2023, 1 in 4 teens between 11 and 15 got their hands on a vape tossing them after one use. The government is stepping in to stop this by making disposables a no-go. They're trying to look out for the younger crowd keeping them clear of any health trouble that might come with vaping.

The government aims to cut down on plastic trash, avoid fires caused by batteries, and shield the environment from hazardous stuff like plastic, lead, and mercury by banning the disposable vapes. 69% of public consultation respondents supported the ban in February 2024, demonstrating strong public support for the measure.
